Description

Discover two completely different sides of Osaka after dark on a private walking tour from retro Shinsekai to the bright neon streets of Dotonbori.

Meet your private guide at Ebisucho Station and begin in Shinsekai, one of Osaka’s most distinctive entertainment neighborhoods.

Walk through Shinsekai Market and the nostalgic shopping streets beneath Tsutenkaku Tower while learning how the district developed in the early 20th century and became known for its casual food culture and unmistakably local character.

Stop beneath Tsutenkaku for photos before continuing to Janjan Yokocho, a narrow covered arcade filled with kushikatsu restaurants, standing bars, retro games, and old-school Osaka atmosphere.

From nearby Dobutsuen-mae Station, take the Osaka Metro together to Namba. Your one-way subway fare is included in the tour.

After arriving in Namba, step into the quieter atmosphere of Hozenji Yokocho.

Walk along its narrow stone-paved lanes and visit Hozenji Temple, home to the famous moss-covered Mizukake Fudo statue.

From this historic corner, continue directly into the energy and neon of Dotonbori.

Walk through Osaka’s most famous entertainment district while learning how the area evolved from a historic theater district into one of Japan’s best-known destinations for food, nightlife, giant signs, and neon.

Finish at Ebisubashi Bridge in front of the famous Glico Running Man sign.

Your guide can help take photos using your own smartphone or camera and recommend restaurants, bars, and other places to enjoy after the tour.

Because the experience is completely private, you can explore Osaka at a relaxed pace, ask questions freely, and enjoy the city without joining a large group.
